USB Adapter Connects Computer to Any HDMI Display

We announced today the launch of our USB to HDMI Adapter that makes it easy to connect a PC or Mac to a High Definition TV or monitor and enjoy resolutions of up to 1080p. Unlike adding a second graphics card, there is no need to open up the computer, simply connect the USB to HDMI Adapter to any USB port and the electronics inside the adapter do the rest.

Supporting resolutions of up to 1080p on both video playback and high resolution desktop, the adapter allows the display to be used as the primary viewing screen, alternatively it can also be used to extend or mirror the desktop. Requiring no external power supply, the LINDY USB to HDMI Adapter’s compact design makes it extremely portable and easy to store when not in use.

The simplicity of USB connectivity makes it easy for anyone to hook up an older machine to any HD monitor, TV, LCD or projector without the need to perform open heart surgery on their computer. Providing that the computer is connected to the internet the adapter will install automatically, enabling even a novice user to connect their machine to HDMI.

Compatible with Windows XP / Mac OS 10.4.11 and above, LINDY recommends for smooth payback of 1080p video a minimum specification of 2Ghz dual core processor and graphics card support MPEG Hardware Acceleration. For less intensive application older computers and notebooks can be used.
