We announced today a wireless mouse with gyroscopic function that responds to 3D gestures in the air, enabling the user to control their cursor whilst walking around a room or even relaxing on the couch. At the click of a button the LINDY Gyro Mouse is able to revert back to 2D for desktop use.

Double axis gyro motion sensing technology enables the mouse to operate with precision control up to 10m away from the host computer regardless of line of sight limitations. With different modes depending on the application, the LINDY Gyro Mouse can quickly switch between 2 and 3D making it ideal for people that like to talk and walk whilst presenting. In gaming mode, the mouse keeps the cursor steady when double clicking, but still maintains quick cursor response.

With no wires or line of sight concerns users can move about freely without losing control of their computer.

The LINDY Gyro Mouse is easy to set up, simply remove the compact USB receiver dongle from its slot in the mouse, insert into the host computer’s USB port and click the wireless connect button. In 2D mode the mouse’s laser sensor can be used with 800 or 1600 dpi resolutions for finer control. Compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7, Linux and Mac OS, the mouse requires two AAA batteries.
